This garage is great! I snapped a hard brake line trying to get it off of my car, so needed to have a new one made. GMP took my old one, duplicated it, had it back to me the next day. With only a few tweaks it fit like a glove. Will be going here for work in the future!

Huge shoutout to Travis who answered my call, arranged an appointment for my Corvette C8 rear brake pads change, and accommodated my time changes for 3 times. I had to reschedule because I was swamped for the last week. He sent me an estimate and it looked good and reasonable. Dropped it off today after lunch and it was done by the end of the day. Highly recommend, would definitely come back.

Awesome service and highly skilled technicians! My 18 year old Ford diesel was experiencing issues and I sought out GMP to help me diagnose the power loss. Online forums had more than 12 things that could have been the cause, which worried me about a possible rabbit hole this could be on such an old truck. Dave B at GMP listened carefully to the concern, came up with a plan and dug in the resolve it. A little scary for me, because the entire cab of the truck had to come off to access the turbo, where the problem resided - but Dave set me at ease and showed professionalism and calm. Ultimately the work Dave did resolved the issue and hope to get another 5 or more years out of the truck! Dave also recommended a few other items, while the cab was off, that made great sense to get done at the same time. Thank you Dave and the entire GMP Automotive group for such great work! You have earned a long term customer that will be reaching out for my general and difficult maintenance in the future!

This was my first time at GMP. I stopped by Firestone to see my "star" mechanic Carlos, and after hearing the ticking sound on the right side of my engine he recommended I bring it to GMP. They did a great job checking out my engine, and appears to be mainly an oil issue (my Nissan Xterra is getting "up there" ; 261K miles!). Travis was a great help, especially squeezing me in since I did not make an appointment. Highly recommend this place!

One of the best shops in the area, Wayne and the rest of the guys are very good at what they do. They are my go to shop now. They're very knowledgeable about f150s, coyotes, and the 10 speeds. I have zero anxiety or concerns about the quality of work when I bring my truck to them. They had the chance to charge me for diagnostics and it would have been fair game, but they didn't. I would have paid without complaint and was surprised when they didn't ask for anything, they're not the type to nickel and dime you. If work needs to get done they will tell you, if it doesn't, they will tell you. Extremely upfront and honest business.

GMP did a great job going over my 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee, checking on a slight gas pedal vibration problem that another shop completely misdiagnosed. No problem, has been running better since changing back to OEM plugs and with recent oil change. Hoping they can keep it running for many more years. Update 9/16/24 - If I could give GMP 10 stars I would. They have kept my 15 yo car running like a top (after another shop told me the car engine was done 1.5 yrs ago, which was completely wrong- just needed spark plugs and bolt tightening). This weekend my left tail light went out. Driving in pouring rain without it today, they replaced the light for FREE for me today. This shop is utterly amazing. True definition of a great small business. (I am a senior, super grateful for these guys.)

These are the "good ol' boy" mechanics that you want to find. They have a spotless garage and know how to fix anything fixable. They even hand-crafted a part for my truck because it's no longer being made, fixing something that 3 other mechanics failed at. The only two downsides are that because they are good, there is a waiting list to get vehicles into them AND even they are not good enough to keep things from breaking when my girlfriend is driving :) Actually, I have no complaints with this place. Damn glad I found them.

First, let me say that what really stands out about GMP is their communication. Travis and Wayne have done a great job of taking care of me. I've had them work on multiple vehicles. Most recently, I brought in the Jeep for the dreaded 3.6 liter Pentastar tick. They did a great job fixing it. These guys are the kind of mechanics you can trust. I highly recommend them for whatever job you may have.

My experience with GMP was nothing less than excellent. I took my '95 Corvette there for service ( clutch replacement, O2 sensor repair/replacement, cooling issues ). A few things that I was pleasantly surprised with that speaks to the 'caring' and customer focus aspect that I wanted to share. I dropped the Vette off Wed and by Thur rain came in. The top of the car was still in my garage and I drove by. The car was safely tucked into the shop. Secondly, their final charges were less than the invoice with all of the above items checked off, tested, and customer verified. Picked up the car and was clean, no dirt or grease on the hood, fenders, interior which is always a source of frustration for me. Excellent customer experience. Thanks guys!

Not only is Wayne honest, but he also understands every fine detail of these intricate machines. I'd highly recommend GMP. I was told I had a busted power steering pump at a different ?fast oil change? place. Took it to GMP who got me in same day and quickly diagnosed the pump was fine but a hose was leaking. They got it changed quickly and had me back on the road. Wayne and Steve are great mechanics. They have a thorough understanding of vehicles, their components, even knowing the socket sizes for various nuts on a model vehicle that's not in front of them. They are diligent and competent, their parts are higher cost than other shops, but that's because they use a higher quality part. FYI - The garage is actually behind the brick buildings that the address indicates.

Steve is easily the most intelligent Mechanic that I have ever worked with. Not only has he become a great friend through the process, but I can count on him for both quality work at great rates, as well as reliable knowlage about the many vehicles that I pick his brain about. My father and I are on our way to Florida, and with no warning the clutch of his jeep became nonexistent. Obviously distraught, we contemplated calling AAA wondering if we were over 100 miles away and if they could tow us back in one trip. We pulled over at the South Carolina Line and immediately called Steve. He answered the phone well after hours on a Friday night to listen to our issue. Without hesitation, Steve asked us to check the brake fluid. Puzzled, my father did, and found it empty. We added fluid and pumped the clutch, and as Steve already knew, the clutch became firm once again. Where fifteen minutes ago we thought that we had to head home, we are now back on the road heading to visit my grandfather! Steve and Wayne, we cannot thank you guys enough for everything that you do, I don't know how I managed before we met. At least I know the way to your heart; large cases of much deserved beer!

I went by with my 2005 Tacoma because I had a bad roaring noise coming from the front. I heard good stuff from a friend so i decided to stop by to see if they would take a look at it. They quickly diagnosed it as a hub bearing. They were able to get my truck fixed and back on the road quickly. The price was very fair from what I found looking elsewhere, especially the dealer. Big thumbs up!

This is a small shop with a few very skilled mechanics. I tool my 2002 Oldmobile Aurora that had a number of issues. They took their time and fully diagnosed all the issues and gave a very realistic estimate of cost and time. After getting the car back, it drove like a new car. I was very impressed. Specifically, the work was valve cover gasket replacement, several transmission issues causing the check engine light to come on, new CV joins and hubs. The work was top notch and I'd recommend GMP to anyone.
